Job Requirements
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic consequences
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- must be 18 years or older to operate balers, forklifts, power jacks and slicing machines
- ability to comply with time and attendance policies
- ability to follow company safety and hygiene policies
- ability to work shift schedules including overtime
- ability to maintain company dress code including uniform, name badge and hair restraints
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company and customer satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy
- perform duties with adherence to hand washing standards and use of disposable gloves
- follow recipes to produce specified food products
- adhere to weights and measures guidelines
- operate equipment according to formulas or recipes
- prepare special order requests
- track sales movement on production logs
- take inventory of supplies weekly and reorder as needed
- check prices and know item locations
- promote charitable sales
- stand for the duration of scheduled shifts
- receive deliveries
- place reclamation in proper location
- lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- assist other departments when instructed
- perform duties in accordance with company rules and safety standards
- follow HAZCOM program and use chemical products safely
- follow approved procedures for receiving, storing and restocking products
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- adhere to shrink guidelines
- check refrigeration equipment
- maintain and report equipment problems
- complete training programs
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- must be 18 or older to operate specialized equipment
- perform other assigned duties
