Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work with fresh, dried, and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
- Must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines

- Ability to assist the Bakery Manager effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of bakery safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate bakery equipment
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Knowledge of inventory tracking and product rotation
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in daily bakery operations
- Mix, bake, ice, package, fill, and decorate designated pastry and bread items
- Maintain clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure sanitation and quality assurance standards are met
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- Rotate products to maintain freshness
- Prepare trays and packages according to company and customer satisfaction
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company policies and procedures
- Use bakery equipment properly and safely
- Receive deliveries and manage inventory
- Promote current charitable promotions to customers
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
- Work cooperatively with team members
- Perform all duties in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Operate baking equipment according to approved recipes and standards
