Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
- ability to assist the Bakery Manager
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic reactions
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with time and attendance policies
- must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- package products into display cases
- rotate products to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company and customer satisfaction
- perform duties according to local, state, and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy
- follow quality assurance hand washing standards and use gloves
- follow recipes to produce food products
- adhere to weights and measures guidelines
- set up, operate, and tend baking equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track sales on production logs
- take inventory of supplies and order as needed
- check prices and product locations
- promote charitable sales
- stand for entire scheduled shift
- receive deliveries
- place reclamation properly
- regularly lift and move merchandise
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- assist in other departments
- follow company rules and safety standards
- adhere to HAZCOM program
- follow approved product handling procedures
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- adhere to shrink guidelines
- check refrigeration equipment
- complete department training
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime as assigned
