Job Requirements
- ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the english language
- ability to perform basic math
- ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
- ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- proficiency in basic math and computer functions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- leadership abilities to engage and motivate associates
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively

- familiarity with bakery operations and equipment
- ability to enforce company policies and standards
Job Duties
- perform all duties in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations including environmental, health, safety and security standards
- enforce HACCP and food handling procedures
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- supervise associates in proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment
- unload trucks and transport merchandise to bakery
- maintain temperature logs and production records
- provide prompt, courteous customer service
- promote charitable sales campaigns
- assist with hiring and training bakery associates
- provide ongoing coaching and feedback to associates
- maintain professional appearance and enforce dress code
- ensure accurate pricing and product placement
- monitor bakery storage and display conditions
- manage inventory rotation and merchandising standards
- use bakery operational technology and verify invoice accuracy
- ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- manage department financials and staffing to meet goals
- complete required training programs
- assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders as needed
- perform additional duties as assigned
