Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • perform all duties in accordance with company policies and local state and federal laws including environmental health safety and security procedures
  • adhere to HAACP and food handling procedures
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment according to department quality assurance standards
  • communicate and enforce department and company safety policies
  • supervise proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment by associates
  • maintain all temperature logs and production sheets
  • greet customers and provide prompt courteous service
  • assist with onboarding and training of new associates
  • provide continual training and feedback to associates
  • lead associates to work cooperatively and encourage enthusiasm and loyalty
  • ensure professional appearance and adherence to company dress code
  • maintain accurate unit price labels and signage
  • monitor bakery storage area for cleanliness and preparation for next shift
  • ensure merchandise is fully stocked rotated and presented according to company standards
  • utilize current technology and applications related to bakery operations
  • verify accuracy of product invoices received
  • maintain accurate reports and records
  • ensure quality and proper storage of products
  • follow reclamation or return-to-stock procedures
  • adhere to in-store pricing and transfer policies
  • comply with local state and federal regulations related to bakery operations
  • understand and manage department financials to meet goals
  • maintain proper staffing levels
  • complete all required training programs
  • maintain punctual attendance and work overtime as assigned
