Job Requirements

  • Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic math skills
  • Ability to stand and walk during the entire scheduled shift
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without allergic reactions
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments
  • Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
  • Ability to climb ladders to access storage
  • Ability to interact and provide friendly assistance to customers
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
  • Ability to work assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
  • Ability to lead and engage associates to meet department goals

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English proficiently

  • Experience supervising or leading a team preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise all bakery department functions and activities
  • Manage and lead bakery associates to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional service
  • Train, develop, and engage bakery staff
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and product presentation
  • Uphold service priorities of safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency
  • Monitor department financial performance and adjust operations accordingly
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently
