Job Requirements
- ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language

- ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift

- ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 60 pounds

- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas

Job Duties
- direct and supervise all functions and activities of the bakery department and its associates
- enforce all safety and food handling procedures including HAACP and HAZCOM
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- recruit, train, and develop new and existing associates
- oversee presentation and merchandising of bakery products
- manage department operations including inventory control, pricing accuracy, and compliance with company policies
- maintain accurate logs and production records
- ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations relevant to bakery operations
- lead team to achieve sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals
- participate in preparation of food products, catering, and special orders
- perform administrative tasks related to department financials and reporting
- support associate engagement and teamwork
- assist in emergency and safety procedures
- perform additional duties as assigned
