Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years to operate certain machinery
  • Availability to work assigned schedules including overtime
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to handle fresh, dried or processed food products safely
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and QA standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
  • Maintain department sanitation and QA standards
  • Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
  • Keep floor clear of debris and spills
  • Greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
  • Maintain and properly use all department equipment
  • Pack out product into display cases
  • Rotate product to ensure freshness
  • Ensure accurate signage for the department
  • Prepare trays to company’s and customer’s satisfaction
  • Perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Dress and groom according to company policy
  • Follow recipes to produce food products
  • Operate and tend baking equipment
  • Prepare special order requests
  • Track sales on production logs
  • Take inventory and reorder supplies
  • Place reclamation in proper location
  • Lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Unload trucks and transport merchandise
  • Check prices and product locations
  • Promote charitable sales
  • Stand for extended shifts
  • Receive deliveries
  • Assist other departments
  • Follow HAZCOM program
  • Adhere to safety and security standards
  • Follow procedures for product receiving and stocking
  • Handle damaged products
  • Adhere to company shrink guidelines
  • Maintain and report equipment status
  • Complete training programs
  • Maintain punctual attendance
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Work cooperatively with others
