Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand the English language
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work with fresh, dried or processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic reactions
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with time and attendance policies
- Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- Maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to Department of Sanitation and QA standards
- Keep floor clear of debris and spills
- Greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- Maintain and properly use all department equipment
- Pack out product into display cases
- Rotate product to ensure freshness
- Ensure accurate signage for the department
- Prepare trays to company’s and customer’s satisfaction
- Perform all duties according to local, state and federal regulations
- Dress and groom according to company policy including uniform and hair restraint requirements
- Follow proper hand washing and food handling standards
- Follow recipes to produce food products to specified standards
- Set up, operate and tend bakery equipment as needed
- Prepare special order requests
- Track sales movement on production logs
- Take accurate inventory and reorder supplies
- Place reclamation in its proper location
- Regularly lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
- Unload deliveries
- Promote charitable promotions to customers
- Stand for full scheduled shifts
- Assist in other departments as required
- Follow company chemical safety procedures
- Adhere to company safety, security and hygiene policies
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to policy
- Maintain refrigeration equipment
- Complete required training
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance
- Work overtime as assigned
