- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and QA standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company and customer satisfaction
- perform all duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations pertaining to bakery operation
- dress and groom according to company policy including uniform and name badge
- perform duties in accordance with QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling food
- follow recipes to produce food products of specified quality
- set up, operate, and tend bakery equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track movement of sales on production logs
- take accurate inventory and reorder supplies
- place reclamation properly
- lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- check prices and item locations
- promote charitable promotions
- stand for entire shift
- receive deliveries
- assist other departments when instructed
- follow HAZCOM program and chemical product safety instructions
- adhere to company rules and safety requirements
- follow approved procedures for receiving and restocking products
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- understand company shrink guidelines
- utilize and maintain equipment and refrigeration
- complete department training
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- work cooperatively with others
- operate balers and power equipment when 18 or older
- perform other duties as assigned
