Job Requirements
- ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried or processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic reactions
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to comply with all time and attendance policies
- must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-lo’s, power jacks, and slicing machines

- ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand the English language

Job Duties
- maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and QA standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company’s and customer’s satisfaction
- perform duties according to local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy
- perform tasks using QA hand washing standards and disposable gloves
- follow recipes to produce food products
- set up and operate bakery equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track sales movements
- inventory supplies weekly and reorder as needed
- place reclamation properly
- lift and transport merchandise
- receive deliveries
- assist other departments when required
- follow HAZCOM and safety guidelines
- adhere to company policies and health regulations
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- utilize and maintain equipment
- check refrigeration
- complete department training programs
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime when assigned
- cooperate with others
- must be 18 or older to operate certain machinery
- perform other duties as assigned
