Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand the English language
- ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products, spices and powdered substances without allergic reactions
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
- must be 18 years or older to operate balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and QA standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company’s and customer’s satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy
- perform duties in accordance with QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling food
- follow recipes to produce food products as specified
- set up, operate and tend equipment to cook, mix or process food products
- prepare special order requests
- track movement of sales on production logs
- take inventory weekly and reorder supplies
- place reclamation properly
- regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise
- unload trucks and transport merchandise
- check prices and know item locations
- promote charitable sales
- stand for duration of shift
- receive deliveries
- assist other departments when needed
- perform duties in accordance with HAZCOM program and safety standards
- follow procedures for receiving, code dating, storing and restocking products
- handle damaged and spoiled products
- understand and adhere to shrink guidelines
- utilize and maintain equipment
- check refrigeration regularly
- complete department training
- perform duties according to company service priorities
- maintain punctual and regular attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- work cooperatively with others
- operate balers, hi-los, power jacks, and slicing machines only if 18 years or older
- perform other duties as assigned
