Job Requirements
- ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- ability to work in varying temperatures
- ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies

Job Duties
- maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- maintain department sanitation and quality assurance standards
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with sanitation standards
- keep floor clear of debris and spills
- greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- pack out product into display cases
- rotate product to ensure freshness
- ensure accurate signage for the department
- prepare trays to company's and customer's satisfaction
- perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- dress and groom according to company policy including uniform and hair restraint
- perform duties in accordance with food handling and hygiene standards
- follow recipes to produce food products of specified quality
- operate, tend and set up bakery equipment
- prepare special order requests
- track sales on production logs
- take inventory and reorder supplies as needed
- place reclamation properly
- regularly lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs
- unload deliveries
- check prices and item locations
- promote current charitable promotions
- stand for duration of shift
- assist in other departments as needed
- perform duties according to safety and security standards
- handle damaged and spoiled products as per policy
- maintain equipment and report malfunctions
- check refrigeration equipment performance
- complete all department training programs
- maintain punctual attendance
- work overtime as assigned
- cooperate with others
- perform other duties as assigned
