Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
- Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs and occasionally 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without allergic reactions
- Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and cleaning agents
- Ability to climb ladders safely
- Ability to engage customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to comply with time and attendance policies
- Ability to lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in departmental management or related retail food service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and engage associates
Job Duties
- Direct and supervise all Appy/Deli Department functions and activities
- Uphold safety and food handling procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Enforce department and company safety policies
- Oversee associate training, development, and performance feedback
- Manage product stocking, rotation, and pricing accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies
