Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for entire scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents

  • Ability to work cooperatively with others

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficient in basic computer functions
  • Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Experience in supervising or managing a retail or food service team
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise all Appy/Deli department functions and associates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Lead hiring, training, and performance management of department associates
  • Manage inventory accuracy, product quality, and merchandising standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to enhance customer experience
  • Oversee department financials and adjust operations to meet sales and profit goals
