Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and spices without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead storage
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
- Ability to lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- Ability to perform basic math

- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Experience in retail management or similar supervisory role
Job Duties
- Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Appy/Deli Department and its associates
- Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to QA standards
- Provide training, feedback, and developmental support to department associates
- Oversee merchandise stocking, pricing accuracy, and product presentation
- Ensure effective use of equipment and adherence to safety policies
- Perform inventory management, invoice verification, and report maintenance
