Job Requirements

  • Have specialty coffee and barista experience for a minimum of one year
  • Leadership or management experience, kitchen experience is a plus
  • We hire for shop manager positions as available
  • Full-time salaried position, 5 days per week
  • Weekend availability required

Job Duties

  • Lead with kindness and hospitality
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests and team
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and waste monitoring
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling
  • Create schedules in accordance to shop-specific needs and labor goals
  • Act as shift coverage when other options are unavailable
  • Handle labor management, payroll, and compliance with regulations
  • Conduct annual performance reviews
  • Manage employee professional development
  • Facilitate employee counseling, development and feedback
  • Collaborate with lead barista to improve training, menus, and workflows
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain food safety compliance
  • Track performance data and implement shop-specific SOPs
  • Collaborate with other managers to share best practices
  • Perform all duties required of baristas
  • Uphold PERC’s mission and values in their work
