Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 2 years of manufacturing experience
- forklift operation experience
- ability to read tape measures
- proficiency with hand tools
- verbal communication skills
- professional interpersonal skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to wear safety equipment such as safety glasses and steel toe boots
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED, preferred
- 2 years of manufacturing and experience preferred
- forklift experience preferred
- demonstrate ability to accurately read a tape measure
- use various hand tools
- requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements and participate in teams
- must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties
Job Duties
- build wooden crates and skids, palletizing equipment for shipment
- assist with shop clean up, including emptying dumpsters with forklifts
- ability to run overhead cranes
- grinding
- load equipment for shipment
- unload raw material and freight loads
- assist shipping
- assist shop floor with various tasks
- may be asked to perform other duties as needed
- gather parts and materials for jobs
- maintain product flow throughout the production floor
- wash tanks, peel protective film off tanks
