Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma required
- at least four years as a mechanic
- minimum two years experience as a shop foreman or lead mechanic
- ability to read and understand computer generated reports and invoices
- must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with others
- must maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- ability to lift 50 pounds to the waist and 25 pounds to the shoulder
- willingness to work additional hours as required
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- compliance with safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma

- ability to read computer-generated reports, office reports, and invoices
- proficiency in operating computer terminals
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- possession and maintenance of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Job Duties
- Diagnose all components of the truck
- help write up repair orders and communicate with drivers and owners to determine problems and solutions
- schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills
- inspect and advise mechanics on work progress
- keep track of customer jobs and advise on completion time, cost, and additional repairs
- perform road and dyno tests to diagnose problems and verify repair completion
- maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of buildings, grounds, tools, and equipment
- coordinate with Parts Department to ensure parts availability and correct billing
- verify repair orders are completed accurately and correctly coded
- assess warranty coverage for repairs
- start work 30 minutes prior to mechanics to analyze work schedule
- work additional hours as required
- ensure safe working conditions for all employees
