Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, and use hands and arms
  • Capability to safely navigate multiple flights of stairs
  • Willingness to work flexible full-time shifts including holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work in a moderate noise environment with frequent exposure to cold temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various food products including produce, meats, pasta, and dairy
  • Understanding of stock rotation principles
  • Effective English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • Customer service experience
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures

Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls and check voicemails
  • Accept deliveries from various carriers and hotel vendors
  • Ship out packages for hotel guests via UPS and FedEx
  • Serve as point of contact for guest package inquiries and front desk coordination
  • Keep accurate shipment records using Package Zen system
  • Verify incoming shipments by scanning barcodes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping and receiving areas
  • Assist with large group deliveries and inventory counting
  • Check quality and freshness of all received products
  • Rotate perishable items for quality control
  • Review invoices for errors and report discrepancies
  • Fill departmental requisition requests
  • Read Banquet Event Orders to anticipate supply needs
  • Place food orders with vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
