Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in applicable field
  • five years related experience and/or training
  • two years experience with international shipping requirements and regulations
  • previous supervisory experience a plus
  • strategic thinking
  • strong communication skills
  • accountable and results oriented
  • ERP experience - SyteLine or similar program
  • large scale manufacturing background
  • export control/ITAR regulations experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee and arrange all domestic and international shipping operations
  • arrange and schedule transportation including LTL, full truckload, dedicated carriers, small parcel, ocean, and air freight
  • coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers to secure competitive rates and reliable service
  • plan and oversee container shipments including delivery scheduling, load planning, and coordination of container packing activities
  • prepare and review all export and import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs requirements, and other trade compliance paperwork
  • monitor shipment status, resolve delays or carrier issues, and communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and customers
  • maintain accurate shipping records, cost tracking, and carrier performance data
  • drive continuous improvement in logistics efficiency, cost control, and process accuracy
