Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal but not mandatory
  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship software helpful but not required
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation to work every scheduled day including overtime and weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Routine walking, bending and use of stairs
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions occasionally
  • Ability to work professionally with others and prioritize workload
  • Capable of working with new or upgraded computer systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship software helpful but not required
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with time constraints
  • Basic knowledge of FAA receiving inspection guidelines preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive all incoming parts under strict FAA receiving regulations
  • Verify material with invoice or packing sheet
  • Stage parts for distribution by runners to various work orders and other departments
  • Receive and prep shipments for outside sales customers
  • Package shipments with proper labeling by carrier
  • Log all shipments by specified carrier
  • Track packages when required
  • Occasionally help parts counter personnel
  • Assess freight charges and bill to appropriate work orders
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
