Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older
- 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred
- ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs
- ability to stack/unstack or carry items
- ability to stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods
- comfortable in a warm working environment
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of shipping experience preferred
- ability to operate material handling equipment
- strong attention to detail
- good record keeping skills
- effective communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Accurately load and unload trailers
- verify route loads and trailer reports
- maintain the shipping yard
- count and check product accuracy and quality
- maintain accurate records
- report overages and shortages
- participate in cycle counts
- operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift
- troubleshoot packing equipment, label machines, tapers, and palletizers
