Job Requirements

- Ability to work various shifts
- Overhead crane and forklift certification preferred
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to obtain fork lift and overhead crane certification
- Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment

Job Duties
- Responsible for the proper loading of trucks with steel tubing
- Plans for the safe loading of material for outbound shipments
- Scan all bundles moved in the warehouse
- Performs a daily crane inspection to ensure proper working order
- Participate in the training of newly assigned teammates on the shipper job responsibilities
- Report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors, managers and/or maintenance
- Work in a team environment, helping other teammates with achieving departmental goals
- Keep work area and/or equipment organized, clean and in a safe working condition
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
