Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies including quality product preparation, cash handling, and safety
  • Six months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customer requests
  • Ability to prepare and coach food and beverage preparation to standard and customized recipes
  • Six months experience delegating tasks or coordinating the work of two or more employees
  • Comply with Starbucks policies and operational standards
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy, fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment for at least one year
  • Experience in delegating tasks and coordinating team activities
  • Ability to direct and motivate others effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of retail operations and store safety policies
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to change

Job Duties

  • Lead store shifts by managing and motivating baristas to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure quality beverages and food products are prepared according to standard and customized recipes
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain store safety and security
  • Delegate tasks effectively and coordinate team activities during shifts
  • Maintain an energizing and positive work environment for partners
  • Communicate clearly and provide coaching to team members to support their development
  • Resolve any customer or operational issues promptly to uphold Starbucks standards
