Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food production, cash handling, and store safety
  • Six months of experience interacting with customers
  • Prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating employees

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks to or coordinating two or more employees
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of retail environment
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to learn quickly

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct daily store operations to achieve high standards of customer service and product quality
  • Coach and prepare team members in the preparation of food and beverages according to Starbucks recipes or customer modifications
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members and coordinate the efforts of two or more employees
  • Ensure compliance with store operating policies including cash handling, store safety, and security measures
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Adapt to flexible work schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers and staff
