Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and safety
  • At least 6 months interacting directly with customers to fulfill their requests
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard or customized recipes
  • At least 6 months delegating or coordinating tasks involving two or more employees

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment for at least 1 year
  • Experience delegating tasks or coordinating the work of two or more employees for at least 6 months
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the retail environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to learn quickly

Job Duties

  • Lead shift operations and ensure adherence to Starbucks standards
  • Work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service and beverages
  • Maintain a positive and motivating team environment
  • Manage cash handling and store safety procedures
  • Coach and train team members on product preparation and customer service
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate activities among staff during shifts
  • Keep calm and effective communication in a fast-paced environment
