Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling and store safety and security with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Minimum six months experience in roles requiring constant customer interaction
  • Experience preparing food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
  • Minimum six months experience delegating tasks or coordinating activities of two or more employees

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months experience in a customer service or retail environment
  • At least six months experience delegating and coordinating tasks of two or more employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Knowledge of the retail or food service environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build lasting relationships

Job Duties

  • Lead store operations during shifts including opening and closing duties
  • Coach and support team members in preparing beverages and food according to Starbucks recipes and standards
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate activities of team members to meet store needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming coffeehouse environment
  • Manage cash handling and ensure adherence to store safety and security policies
  • Foster strong interpersonal relationships and effective communication among team members
  • Uphold company policies and operating standards to maintain quality and efficiency
