Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling and safety procedures with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Six months of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks to or coordinating two or more employees
  • Ability to prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to Starbucks recipes or customized orders

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment for at least one year
  • Proven ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of retail environment and store operations
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures
  • Experience with cash handling and store safety procedures
  • Effective oral communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead each store shift and manage store operations
  • Work alongside and support baristas in delivering quality customer service
  • Ensure adherence to Starbucks standards for product quality and store safety
  • Handle cash management and security processes
  • Motivate and guide team members to create a positive work environment
  • Coach employees on beverage preparation and customer interaction
  • Maintain composure and effective communication in a fast-paced environment
