Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards for beverages, food, cash handling, and safety
  • Six months of experience interacting with customers
  • Prepare and coach preparation of beverages and food according to recipes
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees
  • Ability to direct others
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to build relationships

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in customer-facing roles
  • Six months of experience delegating or coordinating tasks for two or more employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Knowledge of retail environment and store operations
  • Effective oral communication
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships

Job Duties

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Provide quality beverages and food products according to standard and customized recipes
  • Handle cash responsibly and maintain store safety and security
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate activities of two or more employees during shifts
  • Coach and prepare staff to uphold Starbucks’ operational and customer service standards
  • Foster a welcoming and positive environment for customers and team members
