Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one-year previous retail experience
- supervisory experience preferred
- ability to operate POS and cash register
- ability to schedule and supervise store employees
- pass background check including criminal history and sex offender registry
- effective communication skills
- ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist
- ability to grasp, push, pull objects
- ability to operate a telephone
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to perform repetitive motion tasks
- flexible with work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Takes an active role and partners with the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store
- assumes responsibility for all day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager
- provides coaching, training and development to the Store Employees
- ensures customer and donor needs are met by maintaining good customer, donor and community relations, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient
- in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager, communicate any personnel issues with District Sales Manager
- coordinate daily morning and shift change team meetings in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager
- supervise employees in performance of duties to ensure compliance with published directives and guidelines
- provide training for new personnel on store policies, procedures and the level of customer service expected
- complete all tasks assigned by Assistant Manager, Store Manager, District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors and Command Administration
- responsible for processing paperwork related to time and attendance compliance
- ensure store is maintained at ARC merchandising standards and adequate inventory levels
- oversee back room processing to meet daily goals in absence of Store Manager
- ensure donation attendants work effectively as outlined in job descriptions
- manage cash handling including adequate change, safeguarding cash in registers and banking receipts
- attend monthly store meetings
- assist Store Manager in maintaining safety measures consistent with policy and regulations
- responsible for protection of property and building
- may transfer from store to store as directed
- implement appropriate loss prevention measures
- perform other duties assigned by management
