Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of restaurant industry experience
  • ability to supervise and provide work direction
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • supervises open and close activities during non-service hours
  • provides work direction to crew members
  • addresses performance problems requiring immediate attention
  • monitors product quality and takes corrective action
  • follows store cleaning plan
  • monitors positional and service line organization
  • monitors service times and determines efficiency
  • follows flowcharts, prep projections and build-to charts
  • monitors labor usage against sales readings and recommends corrective action
  • follows store plans as set by the unit manager
  • controls food cost by minimizing waste
  • assists in training and cross-training of positional skills as directed
  • follows all operational procedures
  • ensures time card accuracy and wage/hour compliance
  • adheres to cash control and banking policies
  • maintains safe working conditions
  • ensures dress policy is followed
  • follows maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules
  • uses consistent and appropriate supervision practices
  • alerts unit manager to performance or discipline problems
