Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality management preferred
  • ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods (7+ hours)
  • knowledge of Indiana Gaming and ATC regulations
  • ability to enforce company policies and procedures
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • flexibility to work various shifts including holidays and weekends

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily

Job Duties

  • Manages all Food and Beverage shift team members
  • monitors inventory levels and scheduling of team members
  • plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls operational outlet functions during shift
  • maintains professional restaurant/bar image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • hires, trains, and supervises bar and restaurant/bar team members in conjunction with Assistant Manager/Manager
  • organizes and conducts on-shift and departmental meetings
  • schedules and directs team members in their work assignments
  • assures all side work and cleaning of equipment and storage areas are completed
  • ensures thoughtful guest service and responds to guest complaints promptly
  • adheres to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs
  • complies with all health and safety regulations
  • assures security of restaurant/bar and other areas at end of shift
  • ensures a safe working environment and completes accident reports as needed
  • investigates and resolves complaints concerning food quality and service
  • enforces Indiana Gaming and ATC regulations and company policies
  • assists in managing other food outlets as needed
  • follows Company Service Standards model
  • works flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • performs other duties as assigned
