Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- possess valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license
- willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off
- must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- must demonstrate leadership, initiative and judgment
- position may require certification as a Ground Security Coordinator
- able to work with minimal supervision and be punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- previous experience in airport operations preferred
- Sabre experience preferred
- demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- strong leadership and initiative
- administrative and analytical abilities
- ability to lead and motivate employees
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- self-motivated with minimal supervision
- legal right to work in the United States
- fluency in English
Job Duties
- Provide quality service and achieve superior customer satisfaction
- resolve customer service and operational problems during tour of duty
- generate and implement quality improvement ideas through cross-functional teams
- evaluate team performance through corporate quality control measures
- meet profitability and cost control goals by monitoring budgets and seeking cost reduction ideas
- ensure compliance with operations safety and government requirements
- coach and counsel personnel and provide guidance on customer service and performance
- conduct regular performance reviews for team members
- encourage employee teamwork and the implementation of individual and team ideas
- run effective operations through communication and administration of company policies
- coordinate operations including scheduling, hiring, training, and inventory management
