Job Requirements
- Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week, including opening, busy day parts, and closing shifts to monitor associates
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards and HACCP compliance
- Must adhere to company adult beverage policies
- Ability to perform all Health and Safety activities as per manager's guide
- Must be a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act
- Will report to GM, Director of Operations, or intermediate F&B Multi Unit Manager II
- Must work varied and rotating schedules
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years food and beverage experience
- Minimum of 4 years cash handling experience
- Minimum of 4 years customer service experience
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a casual dine restaurant or production kitchen
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- Ability to converse comfortably with customers
Job Duties
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist the GM/AGM by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within assigned restaurants or points-of-sale
- Ensure compliance with all company adult beverage policies and that staff understand and follow AB procedures
- Participate in the interview process, provide input in hiring, and recommend termination, advancement, or promotion of associates
- Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
- Ensure all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- Maintain cleanliness, stock, and visual appeal of display areas
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Operate cash register and void transactions as needed while following cash handling policies and maintaining cash security
- Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and report any concerns to the GM
- Perform health and safety activities as specified in the Manager's Guide to Associate Health and Safety
- Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices
- Ensure current contact information is maintained for all associates working in the restaurant
