Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week including opening, busy periods, and closing
  • Must work varied and rotating schedules
  • Ability to operate cash registers and follow cash handling policies
  • Ability to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
  • Comfortable conversing with customers
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
  • Assist the GM/AGM by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within the restaurant
  • Ensure compliance with all company adult beverage policies and procedures
  • Participate in the interview process and recommend personnel changes
  • Assign work tasks and prepare schedules to ensure all shifts are covered
  • Monitor that all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Operate cash register and follow cash handling policies
  • Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and report to the GM
  • Perform all health and safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
  • Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices
  • Maintain accurate contact information for all associates
