Job Requirements
- Ability to work shifts during various days and hours including opening, busy day parts, and closing
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
- Compliance with HACCP procedures and protocols
- Ability to supervise and motivate restaurant associates
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability for a varied and rotating schedule
- Understanding of cash handling policies
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
- Minimum of 2 years cash handling experience
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policies
- Comfortable conversing with customers
- Knowledge of HACCP and safety standards
Job Duties
- Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
- Assist AGM/GM in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a restaurant or multiple points-of-sale
- Participate in the interview process, provide input on hiring, recommend termination or promotion to GM
- Assign work tasks and prepare schedules ensuring all shifts are covered
- Ensure all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- Maintain clean, stocked and visually appealing display areas
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Operate cash register and void transactions following cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures, report safety concerns to GM
- Perform Health and Safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
- Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices
- Maintain current contact information for all associates working in the restaurant
