Job Requirements

  • Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours including opening, busy day parts, and closing
  • Knowledge of all applicable sanitary, safety, and health standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Capacity to handle cash and operate register
  • Willingness to work varied and rotating schedules
  • Physical ability to perform all assigned duties

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
  • Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
  • Comfortable conversing with customers
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards including HACCP compliance

Job Duties

  • Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
  • Assist AGM/GM in managing and supervising day-to-day activities of associates
  • Participate in the interview process and provide input in hiring decisions
  • Assign work tasks and prepare schedules ensuring all shifts are covered
  • Ensure all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display and service areas
  • Operate cash register and handle transactions according to cash handling policies
  • Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and report concerns
  • Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices
  • Maintain current contact information for all associates
