Job Requirements

  • ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week including opening, busy day parts and closing shifts
  • knowledge of federal, state and local sanitary, safety and health standards and HACCP procedures
  • ability to read, speak and comprehend English
  • minimum 2 years food and beverage experience
  • minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience
  • ability to manage cash handling and customer service activities
  • ability to work varied and rotating schedule to cover all necessary shifts

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling and customer service experience
  • minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
  • ability to converse comfortably with customers
  • knowledge of applicable federal, state and local sanitary, safety and health standards, and HACCP procedures

Job Duties

  • complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies/procedures
  • assist AGM/GM in managing and supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a group of restaurants or points-of-sale
  • participate in interviewing, hiring input, recommend staffing changes to GM
  • assign work tasks and activities, prepare schedules and ensure coverage of all shifts
  • ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
  • ensure display areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing
  • maintain all equipment in good working order
  • operate cash register and void transactions per HMSHost cash handling policies, maintain cash security
  • monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and report safety concerns to GM
  • perform health and safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
  • place orders, receive goods and process invoices
  • maintain current contact information for all restaurant associates
