Job Requirements
- ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week including opening, busy day parts and closing shifts
- knowledge of federal, state and local sanitary, safety and health standards and HACCP procedures
- ability to read, speak and comprehend English
- minimum 2 years food and beverage experience
- minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience
- ability to manage cash handling and customer service activities
- ability to work varied and rotating schedule to cover all necessary shifts
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling and customer service experience
- minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- ability to converse comfortably with customers
- knowledge of applicable federal, state and local sanitary, safety and health standards, and HACCP procedures
Job Duties
- complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies/procedures
- assist AGM/GM in managing and supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a group of restaurants or points-of-sale
- participate in interviewing, hiring input, recommend staffing changes to GM
- assign work tasks and activities, prepare schedules and ensure coverage of all shifts
- ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- ensure display areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing
- maintain all equipment in good working order
- operate cash register and void transactions per HMSHost cash handling policies, maintain cash security
- monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and report safety concerns to GM
- perform health and safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
- place orders, receive goods and process invoices
- maintain current contact information for all restaurant associates
