Job Requirements
- Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours including openings, busy day parts, and closings
- knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- ability to handle cash securely
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
- minimum of 2 years cash handling experience
- minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- ability to converse comfortably with customers
Job Duties
- Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists
- assist AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates
- participate in interview process and provide input in hiring
- recommend termination, advancement or promotion to the GM
- assign work tasks and activities and prepare schedules
- ensure all shifts are covered
- ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- ensure display areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing
- ensure all equipment is in good working order
- operate cash register and void transactions as needed
- maintain proper security of cash
- monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures
- build awareness about wellness and safety
- report any safety concerns to GM
- perform all health and safety activities as specified in the Manager's Guide to Associate Health and Safety
- place orders, receive goods and process invoices
- ensure current contact information for all associates is maintained
