Job Requirements

  • Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours including openings, busy day parts, and closings
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • ability to handle cash securely

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
  • minimum of 2 years cash handling experience
  • minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
  • ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • ability to converse comfortably with customers

Job Duties

  • Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists
  • assist AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates
  • participate in interview process and provide input in hiring
  • recommend termination, advancement or promotion to the GM
  • assign work tasks and activities and prepare schedules
  • ensure all shifts are covered
  • ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
  • ensure display areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing
  • ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • operate cash register and void transactions as needed
  • maintain proper security of cash
  • monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures
  • build awareness about wellness and safety
  • report any safety concerns to GM
  • perform all health and safety activities as specified in the Manager's Guide to Associate Health and Safety
  • place orders, receive goods and process invoices
  • ensure current contact information for all associates is maintained
