Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- college degree or equivalent amount of work experience
- possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license or passport
- previous experience in a team lead, supervisory or managerial capacity
- previous work experience in an airport operations environment preferred
- strong interpersonal, communication and PC skills
- may be required to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends
- willing and able to work non-standard work schedules when necessary
- demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple competing priorities
- possess the legal right to work in the United States
- must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- previous ramp operational experience preferred
- experience managing various workgroups including management, non-management and contract labor preferred
- able to work in a team environment and prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines
- able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated
- strong organizational and decision-making skills
- ability to think strategically and adapt to changing business needs
- proven leadership and analytical skills

Job Duties
- Directs and coordinates department activities and is responsible for running a safe and effective operation
- communicates with managers, peers, and team members within and outside the department
- administers company policies and procedures
- provides team with tools, resources, and training to meet operational goals
- reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives to assist in planning
- assigns work or delegates responsibility and disseminates policy to supervisors
- gives directions, resolves problems, and sets deadlines
- resolves operational problems during peak or irregular periods
- generates and implements quality improvement ideas using cross-functional teams
- ensures completion of corrective Bill of Work according to American Airlines Cabin Cleaning Manual
- meets profitability and cost control goals, develops monitors budget and spending
- coordinates cabin service activities with other departments to ensure efficiency
- evaluates and improves ramp service procedures
- ensures compliance with all safety and government regulations
- investigates discrepancies and compiles compliance data
- coaches and counsels personnel on performance and service issues
- encourages teamwork and idea generation
- coordinates scheduling, hiring, and training
- evaluates team performance through quality control measures
