Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation
  • Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies
  • Physical dexterity required with the ability to move up to 45 pounds
  • Attendance and punctuality a must
  • Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers
  • Maintains customer satisfaction and adheres to health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and motivate team members
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to promote and champion Taco Bell's culture and values
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging

Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the Manager in Charge (MIC) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
  • Oversee team members' completion of shift excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations
  • Provide regular feedback to the General Manager on team member performance
  • Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to team members
  • Actively participate in training team members
  • Handle conflicts constructively and work with the General Manager to achieve resolution
  • Assist the General Manager in screening team member candidates
  • Assist with Profit and Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor
  • Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times
  • Assist the General Manager with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed
