Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and write English

  • Must have a current driver’s license
  • Must use a personal vehicle for company business with insurance covering damages
  • Must maintain ServSafe Food and ServSafe Alcohol certifications
  • Ability to work a minimum of 50-60 hours per week including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds several times per shift
  • Ability to stand for 100% of shift
  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Must have a working phone number
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to follow safety and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist with restaurant operations and conditions to ensure quality of the product and Guest service and hospitality
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance
  • Implement Responsible Vendor policies and procedures for preventing intoxication and handling intoxicated guests
  • Guarantee that all food and beverages meet Chili's taste, temperature, and appearance standards
  • Monitor the use of restaurant supplies to minimize loss and waste
  • Supervise cleaning of the restaurant and equipment
  • Maintain positive communication with employees throughout the shift
  • Document daily events in Hot Schedules
  • Report employee and guest injuries to Human Resources before the end of the shift
  • Handle emergencies and report them to the Area Director
  • Approve voids, comps, time edits and prepare deposits for daily receipts
  • Drive to the bank
  • Maintain and balance cash banks ensuring correct financial transactions and adequate currency
  • Lock and unlock the restaurant securely for opening and closing
  • Enforce safety policies and proper employee dress code
  • Operate a computer
  • Stand for 100% of the shift
  • Perform frequent reaching, bending, stooping, shaking, stirring, and wiping
  • Lift up to 40 pounds several times per shift
  • Exhibit fast-paced mobility throughout the shift and work 50-60 hours per week
  • Work opening, mid, and closing shifts including weekends
  • Clearly verbalize and respond to guests
  • Frequently immerse hands in water
  • Maintain a current driver’s license
  • Use a personal vehicle for company business with proper insurance
  • Maintain a working phone number
  • Keep ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications current
  • Inspect the restaurant for SAFE and health department standards adherence
  • Assign duties based on cleaning lists and station responsibilities
  • Assist in training non-management team members and conduct new hire orientations
  • Generate work schedules with management approval
  • Communicate with other managers via notes and Hot Schedules
  • Complete all office functions necessary for opening the restaurant
  • Conduct restaurant walk-throughs
  • Facilitate daily shift meetings
  • Monitor food quality and plate presentation
  • Monitor ticket times
  • Create prep sheets
  • Oversee SAFE standards compliance
  • Perform kitchen and bar line checks
  • Log invoices
  • Monitor labor and staffing
  • Oversee FOH and Bar setup
  • Work stations or QA window as needed
  • Manage team member check-in/out
  • Coordinate schedule changes and shift coverage
  • Attend manager and trainer meetings as requested
