Job Requirements
- Compliance with all health and sanitation laws and regulations
- experience in computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
- general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred but not required
- ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environment
- work with agility
- ability to work occasional long hours
- minimum age 16 to operate ovens and 18 for mixers
- reliable transportation
- current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
- compliance with local Health Department requirements
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in retail management, food service industry, or equivalent retail experience
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain certification within first 30 days
- basic math and reading skills including simple addition, multiplication, and subtraction
- ability to use and operate a calculator accurately
- attention to detail
- ability to develop skills in leadership, coaching others respectfully and professionally
- stronger guest focus with excellent people skills
- positive can-do attitude and teachable spirit
- availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Perform all the Team Member's responsibilities such as preparing dough and other Jamba Juice products
- prepare Jamba Juice beverage and products
- insert, rotate, and remove pretzel/Cinnabon trays
- monitor ovens for correct baking time and product color
- prepare drinks and bag orders using appropriate health and safety measures
- direct and coordinate the activities of Team Members
- coordinate their meal breaks and breaks per state and federal law
- maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
- contact the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in case of call-offs or no-shows and recommend solutions
- monitor product quality and adherence to proper operating procedures
- ensure guest service and positive guest experience
- address and resolve guests' needs, questions, and complaints
- perform all opening and closing procedures including maintenance and cleaning
- responsible for store funds during assigned shifts
- run register reports and complete Daily Cash Reports and Sales Log report
- follow all cash management and register policies
- comply with all company policies and federal and state regulations including safety and environmental standards
