Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- 1-2 years experience in quick service restaurant or guest service industry in supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Food handlers certification may be required
- Ability to stand and walk 95-100% of shift
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant environment with demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction
- Ability to train and maintain ongoing guest service delivery
- Leadership partnership with management and staff
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through
- Ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve goals
- General knowledge of computers, POS systems and software
- Basic business math skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to assess safety hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, managers and the public
- Ability to implement training and development plans
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English

Job Duties
- Support restaurant manager in supervising team that delivers effective results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
- Run shifts and support the restaurant manager in managing the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems
- Know all work station functions and complete paperwork essential for recording and monitoring jobs in the restaurant
- Supervise 1 to 7 team members
- Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices during shifts
- Support restaurant manager in creating and maintaining an employer of choice environment
- Support restaurant manager in providing leadership, direction, training and development to the restaurant team
- Support restaurant manager in supervising and directing the workforce
- Assist in staffing decisions such as recommending interviews and administering disciplinary action
- Deliver effective results in the areas of quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
- Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them accurately to guests
- Use POS system/cash register to record orders and collect payments
- Adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards
- Follow all company operation policies and procedures
- Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Attend business meetings for training and development as required
