Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and grasp up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods with limited breaks
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs while carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, and reach items up to 50 lbs
  • Repetitive motion of wrists/arms/hands
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and safely as a lone worker
  • Ability to execute all required cleaning procedures for a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to take visual and audible cues and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to clearly hear and speak over the telephone
  • Ability to perform computer work in a stationary position for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum six months of leadership or management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate team members
  • Experience with inventory management preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Serve as the manager on duty in the absence of salaried managers
  • Lead the team and ensure smooth store operations
  • Oversee, train, and evaluate the work of 3-6 employees per shift
  • Manage daily operations including product preparation, sales, inventory, and service
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and complete daily paperwork
  • Conduct inventory checks to maintain accuracy
  • Optimize delivery efficiency by routing orders
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and lead by example
  • Assist with front-of-house tasks including greeting customers, taking orders, and handling transactions
  • Support performance management including coaching team members and providing feedback
  • Bake and prepare treats following recipes and quality standards
  • Accurately package orders for delivery or pickup
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
