- Ensuring all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service
- Motivating others to achieve their best results
- Leading by example and embodying Urbane Cafe values and mission
- Filling in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Running the shift so all team members are provided their mandatory breaks and they are taken at the appropriate time
- Treating all team members with dignity and respect
- Assigning tasks to others as appropriate while still performing their fair share
- Commanding respect of team by demonstrating consistency and fairness without showing favoritism
- Following up on delegated tasks to ensure successful completion
