Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Kitchen Lead role including that of team members
- 1+ year of experience in a Shift Leader or Supervisor role
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as restaurant, retail, or hospitality
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining operational standards
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make confident decisions under pressure
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience fostering positive team culture and mentoring employees
- Organizational skills with multitasking, scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
- Familiarity with fast-paced restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
Job Duties
- Step into any station as needed during shifts especially peak hours and understaffed shifts
- Handle first-level customer concerns including allergy accommodations and order accuracy
- Oversee multiple tasks and systems including line operations, technology tools, and guest interactions simultaneously
- Use clear verbal communication to delegate tasks and solve problems in real time
- Monitor food quality, order accuracy, safety protocols, and digital reporting
- Enforce food safety procedures and allergen awareness to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and maintain a safe environment
- Stay calm and professional in high-pressure or high-volume situations
- Perform all essential duties of the Kitchen Lead role including team member functions
