Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Authorization to work in the country
- Commitment to uphold company policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and labor regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Proficient in managing teams and resolving conflicts
- Basic math and inventory management skills
Job Duties
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state and federal regulations including health, labor and employment laws
- Enforce adherence to Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
- Manage shift profitability by controlling food cost, labor, utilities and promoting sales growth
- Lead the restaurant team to consistently deliver superior guest service, quality and cleanliness
- Assist General Manager in implementing operational game plans and company initiatives
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of programs, reports and legal documents
- Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times
- Communicate effectively with General Manager or Owner about business matters
- Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
