Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic computer skills for managing software and inventory systems
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine setting
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and tools
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a positive dining experience
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback
