Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Basic computer skills for managing software and inventory systems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine setting
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software and tools

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal service
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback
